5 Things You Never Knew Your Cell Phone Could Do!

March 17, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival.
Check out the things that you can do with it:

  1. Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.
  2. Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, hol ding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other “remote” for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
  3. Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.
  4. How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone’s serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.
  5. Free Directory Service for Cells
Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don’t have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800) FREE 411, or (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell phone now.

It’s Time To Get The Lead Out!!

March 8, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Q: So I can still have my 20-year-old body when I’m 44, or…?

Abe: No, your body will still be 44 because you are moving through time.

Q: Uh-huh.

Abe: But what we would do if we were standing in your physical shoes is we would disassociate age with activity or age with the way that you feel because your body is a cellular mass that is monitored and created through electrical charges, and the cellular mass has the capability of regenerating itself endlessly. And each new cell has the ability to be as much, if not more, than the original cell. In other words, that’s the nature of this physical structure. And so the only other factor is how the energy is being allowed to flow through. And so decline is about electrical circuitry being disallowed, not about cellular degeneration.

Your doctors are beginning to discover it, they are beginning to make the factual leap between attitude and wellness, you see. And while we know you would count yourself among — and so would we — the more positive people on the planet. It is clear to us, we can feel it in your energy. We also know that you take life very seriously. You want to get things right. You care very much about parenting. You care very much about your work, you care very much about making the world a better place. In other words, you have issues you’ve picked up along your physical trail, you’re taking life rather seriously, you see. We like it when you take life seriously because it’s a wonderful thing to focus, but we would also like you to lighten up a little bit and relax, and have more fun in more moments and realize that all is well, because that is the only thing that is taking the toll on your body.

I love going off to seminar, learning about all the cools things new and bringing the best of it back to you!

I attended Harv Eker’s “Extreme Health” symposium a few weeks back.

About 2 weeks prior to leaving I somehow attracted a flu bug of all things. This was amazing to me seeing as how I hadn’t been sick for many years…in fact I couldn’t remember the last time.

It was ironic that on the eve of attending the seminar I was still carrying the bug and had in fact totally lost my voice – something I’ve never had the experience of before.

It caused me to really dig into my beliefs around physical health and well-being. Finding a place of “balance” between my conscious and unconscious beliefs. There’s a difference between what I say and what I am truly vibrating. As a Law of Attraction practitioner that believes everything is just energy and that physical illness is rooted in emotional resistance, what the heck was goin’ on then?

A friend of mine at the time said something that struck and stayed with me,

“You know what they say…the seminar starts as soon as we sign up…not when the seminar starts.”

So I sling-shotted my way to Extreme Health feeling the best I could at the time and along the way got real good at communicating without words…

I figured I’d come back refreshed and rid of the bug…a month later I’m feeling like the flu bug has finally flown this coup!

As is usual coming out of a Peak Potentials seminar, the lessons learned continue to unfold…my world was shaken up and I am “reconstructing” a new belief system that utilizes all that I “know” and that feels good!

The seminar was an impressive gathering of health practitioners from a diverse set of modalities and specialties.

One of the most riveting speakers was Dr. Bruce Dooley. He is the founder of MercOut International Ltd. Their mission is:

MercOut International Ltd. is committed to client education, scientific research, superb quality control, ongoing clinical trial research and empowering individuals to take a proactive approach to their health needs.”

What struck me about Dr. Dooley was his warmth, authenticity and his obvious love for people and he knows heavy-metal poisoning! I have heard about mercury poisoning over the years and like so many things dismissed it without paying much attention. After listening to Dr. Dooley I felt as though I had heard the truth through real experience.

I was very drawn to his presentation and had the Universal nudging to take action. The Dr. offered those of us at seminar half price on the urine test kits and $100 off the actual mercury removal treatment if we needed it. I bought 2 kits, one for myself and one for my son.

We learned that heavy metal toxins are passed on to our babies through pregnancy so I wanted my son tested…the only risk I saw to him was through me, it would give me piece of mind to know where he is at with respect to “this”.

The weekend after I returned from seminar I reeled my son in for a day, we provided our samples and I packaged them for pickup by DHL who then wisked them off to the lab. I was told the results would be returned to me via email in 5 to 7 business days.

The results came as promised, first mine arrived and then my son’s results arrived later the same day.

When I read my own report I had a feeling of “that explains a lot” come over me, followed by that familiar wave of gratitude.

I tested more that 2 and a half times the safe level for mercury!! My result line goes clearly off the end of the highest level of the chart. It also indicates there are likely elevated levels of other heavy metal toxins in my tissues. At this point I’m eager to get the results back for my son!!

When my son’s report arrived and I opened it I was surprised by what I saw. My son is not toxic! He has some low levels of metals present and the good Dr. recommended my son’s treatment is optional…good news!!

AND, this left me with a puzzle…I was realizing that I must have become so drastically toxic sometime after having my son. I immediately asked, “So what happened after I had my son?” As soon as I asked myself that question my mind presented me with several memories from the past that answered the question for me without a doubt!

When I came off maternity leave I accepted a position as a technician with the company I worked for.

I loved that job! It gave me unique and valuable experiences and direction – it was fun. And, every once in a while over the years as I was soldering, ripping old cable out of walls and ceilings, climbing cable racks in century-old buildings, or working around new construction, my inner voice would ask, “I wonder how toxic this environment is?”

I have some specific health “annoyances” and nothing significant enough that caused me to focus on them, yet when I left the company I worked for just over 2 years ago I felt generally “toxic” and what I was doing was no longer “fun”. I believe removing the stress from my life alone probably saved it! I am left with a general sense of having been “slowed down” over time, I definately can identify with some of the symptoms listed by Dr. Dooley.

I went straight to the doctor’s website and ordered my first month of treatment!!

Dr. Dooley has developed an oral solution for removing mercury, lead and arsenic…this is where my gratitude goes to…he has brilliantly setup a system and the resources that anyone can easily use to get tested and get clean!

As I wait for my treatment to arrive I am continuing to contemplate and examine my beliefs – I live in a bubble here on earth…an environment I share with many others…

I have cleansed my physical system in various ways over the last decade using many wonderful nutritional products, I love the sense of “clarity” I experience from it. When it comes to metal toxicity though, there is nothing short of a series of 8 IV drip sessions that’ll pull the metals out of my body’s deep tissues!

I have been given the opportunity to flush away 40 years of unconcious living!!

I am excited about experiencing more lightness & clarity! And I’ll use my magnetic personality to attract different things from now on… ;)

I am in appreciation to The Universe for “keeping me safe” and providing me with the tools and information to make “conscious choice” from wherever I’m at!

I’m having conversations with my cells daily, letting them know I’m sorry and that assistance is on the way! I’m visualizing my cells openly allowing the treatment to gently lift the metals up and outta’ here to be ushered outside of the body where they belong.

My Cellerciser will be here any day too! It’s the perfect tool to aid the process! That’ll give my lymph system a workout while I’m detoxing!

I’ll be reporting back to my blog on the process and my progress! If you haven’t already, go ahead and visit Dr. Dooley’s website and explore the incredible and innovative system he has set up in the name of simplicity and ease for everyone!

Creating Renewed Avenues Of Old Joy…

March 6, 2007 · 1 Comment

On the Abe card I pulled from the deck this morning it said,

“The basis of your life is freedom;
The purpose of your life is joy.
You are free to choose new avenues for joy…”

My immediate thoughts were around a “re-discovery” for me recently, and my inner response to Abe was,

“And sometimes the “new avenue” can be a return to old joy.”

I’ve told this story to more than 3 people so it is time to share it here.

When I adopted the Law of Attraction into my family of beliefs, it caused me to often question “why” I do or think things! I have found that if I ask the question in a serving way the answer is not long to follow…after some time I began to see just how much of everything I do is for “unconscious” reasons…or most importantly, for the approval of someone else.

The past year has been about interpreting my inner guidance, learning how it is “speaking” to me and acknowledging it as “true”.

I find that the better I get at manifesting my reality, the trickier the game gets…I trust that everything expands and with serving focus will continue to get better and better, and as good as I often think I’m getting, I am always aware of the infinite nature of my journey!

The above is a complicated way of saying,

“Sometimes the Universe still needs to bonk me on the head once in a while to have me pay attention.”

And it did a few weeks ago…quite literally.

I will divert to some history for context…

About 18 years ago, prior to the birth of my son, my passion with computers, my climb up the corporate ladder, and the building of business…I loved to knit!!

I grew up in the company of some very creative Aunties and Great Aunties that took the time with me to teach me their crafty skills!

I started off with a ball of wool and a crochet hook at a very young age. I was the perpetual “kid with a project”, I always had more than 1 on the go and tried many different types of crafting to create useful and beautiful things!

My favorite of all activities emerged as knitting, and my friends and family looked forward to the fruits of my labor on birthdays and at Christmas.

I consciously “put it away” at a decision point, and prioritized my focus on my career and raising the boy. Over the years of house-moves and life-style changes I kept my knitting tools and patterns and declared there would come a day when I would have more time for it again.

My family has inquired over the years, “Are you ever going to take up knitting again?” They still wear – and get compliments on – the sweaters I made them almost 20 years ago!

I also saved my knitting bag and in it was a sweater pattern and some beautiful hand-spun sheep’s wool I picked up in my country travels as a Telco technician at least 10 years ago…one day I’d sit down and knit again.

In my travels the past couple of years knitting has come up in conversation more than once…I was meeting Corporate women that also loved to knit for relaxation and time-out. Still I wondered how they afforded the time…

I picked it up for a short time after I left corporate the end of 2004 and it fizzled out…and at that time my focus was on doing a lot more of other things I had been dying to do once I left my job!!

So fast forward to this past fall (2006)…

I am nicely tucked into my bubble in new space after having released 20 years of home-ownership and all the responsibilities attached to it…business is great, I am undistracted and “re-prioritizing” how I spend my time with more of it available to me…I’m more efficient and more focused so more is getting done in less time…and seemingly with less effort!

I had had the thought more than once since mid-October that I should pick up my knitting again…the thought dropped in, it came and went without any action on my part…

Shortly after New Year’s Eve just a few weeks ago, I was into my closet to do something and the knitting bag slid off the top shelf onto my head!!

I immediately stopped, laughed and said outloud to “The Universe”, “OK! OK! I’ll get started on it today!” Then I tossed the bag on the bed and pulled out the box with my tools in it. Soon after I was at it again…

So where did the resistance come from around “just frickin’ doin’ it” when my inner guidance brought up my desire to knit?

Why did I dismiss the thought each time it came up?

Well the list of reasons is long, most of them for the sake of “others”. I have friends currently that have a hard time picturing ME knitting. I figured out why I love it so much after sitting down again to “do” some knitting for some time…

Once I got back into the swing of it something happened…all of a sudden I realized I was in the same kind of space as I experience when I meditate!! Meditation wasn’t really a part of my awareness when I used to knit years ago. I was instantly reminded of the “feeling place” of why I was so drawn to it! It seems it is a missing piece to my overall creative process! In short, it’s opened up some stuck passages for me!

There’s just something about busy hands in a quiet space that causes all kinds of clarity, focus and inspirations to come up!

I am reminded of all the joyful hours as a kid totally engrossed in something fun, easy and productive.

I have also discovered this the perfect space to get caught up on all the learning audios and books I want to listen to! Having busy hands accentuates my learning absorption and retention…the hands keep my mind busy and out of my way. If I get stuck or have lost inspiration with my writing or my work, I just go knit for a few minutes and put the question out to the Universe, the answer finds it’s way to me once I’m in that “receiving” space.

Something else I know for sure…when I live by “inspired action” and I “go with the flow” of life, timing is always perfect! Having my knitting back is exactly what I needed for oh so many reasons and although it took being hit over the head…I got it and that’s what matters…

So I think I’ll continue…the family will be happy come Christmas…I’m already on the 4th sweater since the beginning of January!

My new avenue of joy was on the shelf the whole time…and the Universe is whispering, “Told ya’…”
